First gift registered....

The Twelve Days of Zevo

My birthday is April 14th....that is 10 days from now. Thus i have proclaimed the 12 days of Zevo, starting today and ending 2 days after my birthday. That is more than enough time for Donatella Versace and Madonna to plan my party.

Boo and Lucy Fur will be leaving soon for Italy and staying at George's villa until i arrive. They are helping plan the event. I am hoping this year it is held in Paris. A few days at the Moulan Rouge would be so nice. (hint hint)

I will be registering for gifts in the next few days at the usual places like Versace, Vespa, Dolce Gabbana, Tiffany's.....etc.

Meanwhile it is important that i stay here in Salem to run the businesses for the next week. Nubi has been no help at all. He is still hoping to hear he is the father of Dannielynn. I am not sure what we will do with a baby at Casino Calamari... or Brothel Calamari. Maybe we could sell it on ebay.

Zevo said that i am the real father. I was drunk the night i was with Anna Nicole, so i just don't remember. Zevo would never lie about such a thing. I know that polar bears would eat us if they could. But in a drunken stupor, we promised Al Gore we would spread the word about their plight. (It's not like they are going to be roaming the streets of San Diego or Salem hunting cats.. ) so i think it is only right we all get our pet human to sign this petition! Please pester them until they do... who knows WE may be next on the extinction list and who will help us?

Polar bears need our help. There are only 20-25,000 of these majestic bears scattered throughout the Arctic, and rising temperatures and industrial pollution are driving them to the brink of extinction.

But there is hope! In December, officials at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service announced a proposal to list polar bears as "threatened" under the Endangered Species Act.

Wysong Update

I am posting today for Zevo since she is still in NY with Elton John. There is a rumor that she stayed to help him find his missing glasses.

As her pet human i was very concerned about the rumors on the Wysong Food. I called the company and spoke to a very nice woman.

She said that Wysong has their own facility for all their products. HOWEVER, since they do not have a canning facility, they have Menu Foods can their canned products. She stated that Wysong provides the meat and ingredients for them. All their canned foods contain only meat and no wheat gluten. The products canned at Menu Foods are the Stew & Gravy and the Au Jus products.

She said they are not part of the re-call and that Wysong is rethinking about where to have their foods canned because of this incident.

With that info i am relieved that the majority of Wysong products are made in house. However until Wysong changes it's canning facility we will not be using any of their canned foods. I have switched to Solid Gold. Both Zevo and Nubi scarfed it up yesterday. (Before they left for NY!)

Sir Elton John is preparing for a concert at New York's Madison Square Garden to celebrate his 60th birthday. The show follows a private birthday party held in Manhattan. He has already held a similar bash in London.

A Poose Pride Float was rejected by parade officials and pooses wearing rainbow shirts protested on the side lines. Presidental hopeful Chey, promised she would do all she could when elected for the Gay Pooses of America. Unconfirmed sources claim to have seen Chey on the float with her sister, Gemini.

At the end of the parade celebrity pooses Zevo Calamari, Miss Boo and a Lucy O'Fur (all wearing emerald tiaras) were detained by Homeland Security for helping two fugitive royal British Corgis escape the Queen. The corgies were taken away by Scotland Yard. They were heard screaming "Give Ireland Back to the Irish you bloody old bat."

Unconfirmed sources report that Ted Kennedy had the celebrity cats and their tiaras released from Homeland Security. It is no secret that Kennedy and the cats are good friends. Kennedy invited the cats to ride along with him and his dog Splash, in his limo to the St Patty's Party held at Hamburger O'Marys. The RiverDance Poose Dancers led by Tao, Sarge and Nubi O'Kenobi will open for Bono and U2 later tonight.

The mayor of Salem has asked for Boston PD back up for tonight's celebrations. She sent a warning to all attending the party to wear cheap jewelry. She has not commented if she will attend the party.

Unconfirmed sources claim that Royal Corgie Sir Linnet has been seen with celebrity cat Miss Boo. Rumors are that Miss Boo has been wearing a tiara belonging to Queen Elizabeth.

Obi Wan's Cloak Sells For $104K At Auction

The brown cloak Alec Guinness wore as Obi Wan Kenobi in a "Star Wars" galaxy far, far away sold for $104,200 at a London auction. Unconfirmed rumors are that a Nubi Wan Kenobi purchased the cloak after earning a large amount of money on a covert mission that transpired recently. No details of this mission have been released.

Saturday Night with the Humans

I am so tired after all the excitement this past week that i have decided to stay home and watch a movie with my pet humans. I closed the brothel and the casino for the weekend. It is too cold and icy here anyway for any business. Plus i do need to decide on the perfect place for my new Picasso...office? casino? brothel? undisclosed villa in the south of France?

Boo and Lucy Fur are back in San Diego. They are planning a spa weekend in The Golden Door. That escapade in the Ritz Carlton Bomb Shelter was a bit much for us. Those girls deserve a good massage. ... and of course teeth cleaning after biting the Dark Lord.

Tao and Sarge are back in Baltimore, probably drinking natty boh's.

Nubi has never seen That Darn Cat. What a baby. Can you believe he is wearing pajamas with birds on them?

I am back in Salem today recovering from the wild weekend. I think all that partying has given me a touch of poose flu.

There is so much to do. Pooses for Peace has decided to back Chey for President We have the concert tour starting with Al Gore. Boo lost her Jimmy Choo shoes (or were they Manolos?) at the party. Lucy Fur is still negotiating with Hillary and Obama to kiss and make up and support Chey instead.

I have to prepare for the big St Patty's party at Hamburger Mary's. It is a wild human holiday in Boston. I am sure Ted Kennedy and his friends will be there. We will be inviting all the new pooses we met at the Oscars.

Director Spike Lee was named Tuesday as a winner of the annual George Polk Awards for his documentary on life in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Boo and Lucy Fur met Nubi and i this morning in the French Quarter. Tao and Sarge will be here in time for Fat Tuesday. Bordreaux the Magi is also here. He made us the most stunning costumes. We have our own float, Pooses de Voodoo for tomorrow's big parade.

Happy Year of the Pig

Gung Hay Fat Choy. It is the Year of the Pig.

We would like to dedicate this day to our favorite Pig....Miss Baby Pig Calamari. A wonderous poose who began Pigs for Peace which later became Pooses for Peace. In honor of this Pig, there will be an all you can eat cheese and turkey poose buffet at the Casino Calamari.

The lion dance will be performed tonight by the Poose Fu Dragon Troupe. Fireworks begin at ten.

NEWS FLASH FROM LA

Reports are in that Britney Spears left rehab last night and after arriving in Los Angeles, headed for a LA salon, demanded that a stylist cut off all her hair. When the stylist refused, Spears grabbed the clippers and did it herself.

She then wound up at the tattoo parlor, where she spent $80 to have three tattoos applied -- a black-white-and-pink cat on her lower hip and two sets of pink and blue cat paws on her wrist.

Hughes said that when someone asked the singer why her head was shaved, Spears replied: "I was advised by three cats wearing tiaras that the look would be perfect for my comeback album."

Unconfirmed sources saw 3 cats wearing tiaras running from the tatoo palor laughing. Those sources were also admitted to rehab today.

Lion Dance performed by Pooses

The Traditional Lion Dance will be performed before the Pooses on Ice tonight at the Nubi Wan Kenobi Ice Park to celebrate the beginning of Chinese New Year's. Participants of this dance will be from the Poose Dragon School of Poose Fu.

Fireworks will start at midnight.

Ice Rink Opens in Salem, MA

Welcome to the Nubi Wan Kenobi Ice Park! It has been so cold here in Salem, i thought i would open an ice rink for pooses. Warm milk and shots of tequila are now being served at the snack bar.

Polar bears and penguins skate for free every Monday night.

Try outs for the ice hockey team will be tomorrow night at 6pm.

The show Pooses on Ice opens this Saturday night.
