Hi Everyone,
Thanks so much for all the get well wishes and purrs. I am finally home. I am still kind of groggy.
It was a rough ride home from the vet. My pet human was driving her little vw bug when she got pulled over by a large car with blue flashing lights and a very mean man in blue. He yelled at her for stopping at a yellow light and her tires were touching the pedestrian walk. She apologized and asked that he please be nice as she had a very sick cat in the car.
NO...... he was not nice. He then told her that the car registration had expired in August. (WHAT? no? what? Wait... no i didn't get anything in the mail.) AND that she had the choice of either being towed by the cops or finding someone to tow it home. He did not care that she had me in a crate. He did not care it was hotter than hell and we had to wait for a tow truck for 45 minutes. He could have written a fix it ticket. NO... she had to call AAA and we had to ride home in a tow truck.
I am sure this cop was at the RNC. It can be the only reason he glared at me in my crate with such disdain. My pet human is trying very hard to forgive him and she hopes that he learns some compassion.
However... we would like to say thank you soooo much to all those who helped us yesterday.... the very nice tow truck driver, our neighbors, and friends and the nice people at the Atlantic Vet hospital.
Since the pet human is working double to pay for these past few days we will not be posting or visiting much.
Thank you all for the love and healing prayers.
Spread some compassion today!
love
nubi

You live in Massachusetts don't you? We used to live there. The "staties" are the biggest nastiest rudest....well you get the idea. Anyhow, we are sorry you had to endure this trauma!

oh noes, how horrible. Billy is on his way to do a poot and run at the police station.
What a nasty cop. We know 2 other people who forgot to get tags. They got tickets, but we have never heard of having to have your car towed for that. Especially since it was only last month.
I am so angry that the policeman did that I could just spit! He deserves a big bitey for not having any compassion or understanding.
I foresee a local Bite & Run here in MA very very soon..................

Oh Nubi! I am so sorry you had to put up with that. Do not worry. I will take a page from Sarah Palin's book and fire anyone who has given trouble to my friends when I am president...
Hey guys, you don't have to print this comment but we wanted you to know that apparently there's a post over at Huffington Post that discusses some comments of people who knew Sarah Palin. Apparently she hates cats. We thought you'd want to know that...
oh and you might like Cheysuli's Wednesday post (which will be up in a few hours)
So glad you're home, but that mean cop has it coming. Speaking of, Good Morning America announced today that Sarah Palin hates cats. Can the various ____ and run brigades turn around and redouble their efforts?
What a nasty, uncompassionate and inconsiderate officer. I would write to the department and lodge a complaint.
Purrs to Obi Wan.
Hey Nubi,
I want you to know that I have friends in low places and can put that trooper in his place in no time flat. Hust say h word and I'll alert the Schutzhund Boyz and the Corgis. They're standing by, pal!
Kiss Kiss,

Sorry you got sick because of the RNC. That would make anycat sick!!!!
I purr that everycat in a 50 mile radius goes to the cops house and yaks & poops on his car and yard!!!!!
Runny poop would be a bonus ;)
I hope you continus to feel better.
WE may need to find you a mouth guard for when it's necessary to bite the wrinkly white dude with bad hair and the skirt from the frozen place!!!
Purrs Mickey
What a stinker of a cop! I'd happily poop on his pillow. Derby is right, a letter of complaint would be in order.
