We will be taking some time off to recover from all the events of the past few weeks. Miss Boo is still resting. Her pet human is also recovering from cooties.Our pet human still looks like a walking mummy and smells like stinky chinese herbs. Time for a long nap!

Isn't this butterfly pin just lovely? George sent it to me as a get well gift. I am not allowed to go out.. i went to the v-e-t yesterday and i have pneumonia.... i must have picked it up partying at the superbowl... or was it the inauguration?

Anyway i need to rest and heal. Could someone bring me a nice bowl of organic chicken soup please........ oh and some movies would be nice. I think i will start with That Darn Cat.....

We have joined Team in Training to cycle a 100-mile (century) bike ride in Lake Tahoe on June 7. In return for fundraising for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Team in Training will train us over the next few months to complete "America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride". Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help with research and treatment of blood cancers.

Though biking 100 miles in one day is daunting, we are looking forward to taking on the challenge together, getting into shape, and doing it all for such a worthy cause. Our sore muscles and struggles up those hills during training will be insignificant compared to the daily efforts of those living with blood cancers. With each other's help and the support of all our friends and family, we'll make it to the finish line!

Your donations will help fund The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a non-profit health organization whose mission is to cure leukemia and related diseases (lymphoma, Hodgkin's Disease, and myeloma) and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. With generous gifts like yours helping to fund research, 90% of all those diagnosed with leukemia are cured. But still, every 10 minutes we lose a friend, family member, or colleague to blood cancers. The cure is close, and with your help, we can bring it another day closer until we've beaten these diseases.

Springsteen Asks Pooses for Peace to Join E-Street Band for SuperBowl!

The latest breaking news from this year's Super Bowl is that Bruce Springsteen has invited celebrity cats The Pooses for Peace, and their cohorts to sing with him during the half-time show. Springsteen and the cats have ben friends for several years. Unconfirmed sources report that he has invited the cats to tour with him this year. No comment has been made by Springsteen as of yet.

In other Super Bowl news, Miss Lucy Fur will be singing the National Anthem. Her birthday is this Sunday. Aretha Franklin gave Miss Fur an exact replica of her inauguration hat to wear for the occasion.

Tampa authorities expect hundreds, if not thousands of cats, dogs and skunks to attend the Super Bowl festivities. Extra security has been hired. The celebrity cats were blamed for Janet Jackson's clothing mishap a few Super Bowls ago. They also have been accused for biting several super-models (like tom Brady's girlfriend) wearing fur at games in the past.

Special Inauguration Edition of Entertainment Tonight

Tonight on ET we will highlight the Inauguration and all the festivities that happened yesterday!

First up this hour.... How about those celebrity cats known as the Pooses for Peace. Were they really singing back-up vocals with Aretha Franklin? Were they responsible for Dick Cheney arriving in a wheel chair? Is it true there was one last Bite & Run attack right after Obama was sworn in causing GW Bush to wince? Why was Laura Bush sneezing? And what was that smell near Bush's helicopter?

Later on the show... what did the celebrity cats wear to the Pooses for Peace Inaugural Ball? Was George Clooney there with Miss Boo? Who was Zevo Calamari dancing with? And how did Miss Lucy Fur lose all that weight for that Versace dress?

Pooses for Peace Rock at Obama-Stock Concert

Hordes of cats, dogs and various animals have been pouring into Washington today for the start of Obama inauguration. Most of these are members of the infamous Pooses for Peace.

A concert on the National Mall in Washington is marking the start of four days of inaugural celebrations. The crowds gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial erupted in cheers when President-elect Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, arrived, walking down the steps of the memorial along with celebrity cats Zevo Hussein Calamari, Miss Boo, Miss Lucy Fur and Jedi cat Nubi wan Kenobi the bodyguard of presidential elect Cheysuli.

Obama credits his sweeping victory to the last minute support the Pooses for Peace gave him when Cheysuli graciously stepped out of the presidential race.

Performers including U2, Beyonce and Bruce Springsteen are on the bill. Obama is expected to offer welcoming remarks. The Pooses for Peace will be singing back-up vocals for Bruce Springsteen. Unconfirmed sources report that Bono is still miffed at the cats since his sunglasses ended up on Ebay a few years ago.

At this very moment the cats are leading the crowds in a farewell song to G.W. BUSH. Sing along with the Pooses for Peace......

Democrats award Lucy Fur Purple Heart

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have awarded Miss Lucy Fur the Purple Heart medal for her courageous act of bravery challenging Donald Rumsfeld to step down. Unconfirmed sources claim that Rumsfeld had to have 10 stitches in an undisclosed area of his body and is taking pain medication. Karl Rove and Darth Cheney have been in protective custody since the incident.

Meanwhile Senator Boo is in Vietnam negotiating the release of Poose POWs, (and searching for cool jewelry)

Bite & Run Memories

This entire week we will be preparing for the grand event of Barack Obama's inauguration. We will be very busy helping Oprah plan her party, trying on couture, picking out accessories, manicures, pedicures, facials, massages, etc.

We are happy to see the Bush Administration leave. However, had it not been for the chimp, the Bite & Run brigades would have never been formed. We would like to present a tribute to our favorite Bite & Run attacks provoked by the GWBush and his cronies over these past few years. So everyday until Obamamas, we will be featuring the best of the Bite & Run.

Many have asked if the Pooses for Peace will continue to conduct Bite & Run attacks now that the Chimp is leaving. Do not fret! There will always be the need to Bite in the name of justice and freedom.. and of course for fun. (In our segment of the best Bite &Runs we do not have time to feature all the celebrities and local politicians bit in the past few years.)

Looking forward to see ing every member of the Pooses for Peace and the various patrols at the inauguration and the parties afterwards. Thank you all for your bravery during these dark years. We look forward to positive change. Yes we can.

White House Beefs Up Security

The White House has increased its security for the final ten days of George W Bush's presidency. Extra secret service, swat teams and undercover agents have been brought in to be on guard of a possible last Bite & Run attack by the infamous Pooses for Peace. The celebrity cats have been on Homeland Security's list of wanted terrorists for some time now, and a menace to the Bush administration.

In the last four years the cats have allegedly lead attacks on Donald Rumsfield, Condi Rice, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney, Laura Bush and the Bush twins, most of the Republicans in the House and Senate and several FOX NEWS anchors. In all instances there was not enough proof to hold the cats on charges. Senator Kennedy has bailed the cats out of jail more than once after Homeland Security arrested them.

The cats are rumored to be coming to Barack Obama's inauguration via a personal invitation from the president-elect himself. Miss Lucy Fur is BFF with Oprah and the cats will be at her gala event. No word if George Clooney will be escorting Miss Boo to the ball. Zevo Calamari will be attending with her roomie, Jedi cat, Nubi wan Kenobi. Other members of the Pooses for Peace and the Bite & Run brigades are also invited. All will be staying as guests of Oprah. Donatella Versace has will be designing couture for the cats to wear.

Zevo Calamari issued a statement today in regards to the potential Bite & Run attack predicted in the next week.: " What attack? There is not enough tequila on the planet to go in and bite that chimp and his cronies. Oh.. do you think the blue strapless Versace makes me look fat? Have you heard that Keith Olbermann will be there? Should i wear blue or silver Jimmy Choos? Pass me that flask please.............."

Che Nikki joins the Pooses for Peace... Bite & Run Brigade

We would like to welcome our latest member of the Bite & Run Brigade, Che Nikki. This poose has proven her bravery and courage while doing battle with her pet human over her toys.


The wood pellet stove replaced the area where poor Che Nikki's toys use to be housed, causing Nikki to hang a Che Guevara poster in the living room. She began wearing a beret with combat fatigues and speaking in Spanish. Her pet human is terrified that this feisty schnauzer will soon take up smoking Cuban cigars.


During the swearing in ceremony Che Nikki issued a statement: "I am honored to be a member of the Pooses for Peace Bite and Run Patrol. I thank you all for considering me for this dangerous position. My teeth are your teeth. I will bite for the cause! Viva la Revolucion! Ole! A round of mojitos for all."



On behalf of all the members of the Pooses for Peace and all our brigades, we would like to wish Che Nikki a very happy birthday today. Everyone is invited to her house for dinner and mojitos tonight.


Che Nikki will also attend Oprah's inauguration ball as a special guest of the Pooses for Peace. Donatella Versace is now designing a red beret and camouflage patterned dress for the occasion. Miss Nikki has requested to wear a beret in honor of her hero Che Guevara instead of a tiara.
